System Overview:

The HR1500 PTO Econocover is an aluminum, fixed-arm automatic tarping system designed for multi-axle hooklift or cable roll-off trucks carrying containers 16 feet to 24 feet in length.

This is the most economical automatic tarping system for these trucks. It features:

• Adjustable hydraulic gantry

• Right-angle direct-drive hydraulic motor/gearbox assembly

• Torsion spring-activated aluminum pivot arms

The system is built for low maintenance and fast installation, estimated at approximately 8 hours.

Econocover Advantages:

• Hydraulic PTO Operation: Uses the truck’s existing hydraulic system through a right-angle direct-drive motor/gearbox

• Adjustable Gantry Purpose: Gently lowers tarp over the load to extend tarp life; reduces wear

Operation:

1. Gantry is raised hydraulically via PTO motor.

2. The motor unwinds the tarp from the roller while torsion-spring pivot arms extend.

3. The arms cover the load as the tarp is deployed.

4. Arms rest on the rear door to secure the tarp.
