Pioneer HR1500E Tuff-Tarper – Aluminum Frame

The Pioneer HR1500E Tuff-Tarper with Aluminum Frame is part of the Tuff-Tarper Series, engineered for single-axle cable hoist and hooklift trucks. These systems are designed to cover open-top, fixed-height containers ranging from 8' to 16'.

Tuff-Tarper systems are available in semi-automatic, automatic, and hydraulic models, giving haulers flexibility and reliability for daily operations.

HR1500HAL Tuff-Tarper with Hydraulic Gantry

The HR1500HAL is a hydraulic tarp system designed for single-axle hooklift trucks. Built for performance and safety, it features:

• Direct drive hydraulic motor for quiet, smooth, and steady movement.

• Adjustable roller assembly on a hydraulic gantry with a vertical range of 60" to 96".

• Integration with your truck’s existing hydraulic system.

• Aluminum side-mounted pivot arms for reduced weight and durability.

• Heavy-duty reverse-wound torsion springs to assist pivot arm movement.

• Flow diverter and control valve for safe, low-pressure roller operation.

• Heavy-duty mesh tarp included as standard.

• Easy installation and low maintenance design.

The Tuff-Tarper Advantage

The HR1500HAL hydraulic tarp system combines durability, safety, and long-term tarp protection. Powered by a right-angle direct-drive motor/gearbox combo, the system unwinds the tarp from the roller while torsion-spring powered pivot arms deploy smoothly across the load.

Every unit comes with a 9' wide expandable heavy-duty mesh tarp for reliable load coverage.

Adjustable Gantry Benefits

The adjustable gantry extends tarp life by gently lowering the tarp over the load instead of dragging it across. This reduces damage and wear significantly.

• Both telescopic and fixed gantries require 10" of clearance for the roller rest.

• In some cases, a fixed gantry can be modified for limited clearance applications.
