Glass Mat High Temperature Insulation
Mauritzon Glass Mat is composed of an assortment of long glass fibers mechanically formed into a uniform blanket. Fiber used is 100% virgin glass fiber. Offers good thermal protection and sound suppression. Industries are power generation, petro-chemical, shipbuilding, mining, metal refining and other high temperature industrial applications. Resistant to most chemicals with the exception of hydrofluoric and hot phosphoric acid and wet hydrogen chloride. Excellent solvent, sunlight and age resistant. Recommended for temperatures up to 1200°F.
