For the Flash™ and Arm-Matic™ systems (see below), start with your choice of hardware kits. Check the STANDARD FEATURES AND OPTIONS charts to see what automatically comes with your preferred system. Then add or deduct as instructed for any changes from the bulleted (•) standard equipment. Finally, select your tarp size and choice of fabric from the tarp charts (see pgs. 9-10), and add the tarp price to your system.
Premium, high gloss aluminum pivot arm system for dump bodies up to 23'. Features heavy duty "unbreakable" arms, direct drive motor, rotary switch, extruded aluminum roller bar and two 5-spring stamped steel spring enclosures. Not included: wind deflector, arm rests.
The Flash™ is the toughest dump body covering system on the planet, engineered for both durability and superior safety. The spring assembly features five per side to ensure loads are secure. An exclusive extra-strong stamped-steel spring enclosure, dubbed “the clamshell” for its impressive closing capabilities, protects the springs from rocks, mud and debris. A two-part stamping process eliminates welds and contributes to a more indestructible product, and the heavy-duty Grade 8 spring pin will not break. Models marked “UB” are designed with 22-coil underbody spring assemblies.
Pivot Arms:
Pivot arms are thick-walled and guaranteed unbreakable. The professional, high-polish zinc protective coating protects the system from corrosive environments. Optional 30° arms are bent with a specially-made die in a one-piece design, for optimum structural integrity.
Aluminum Elbows:
Die-cast 90° aluminum elbows at rear cross piece match arm shape and enhance arm strength. An upper bolt slot simplifies arm installation.
Stamped Steel Spring Enclosures:
Super-strong stamped steel spring enclosures protect springs from rocks, mud and debris.
3-Year Motor Warranty:
The dependable Durabuilt™ 12V direct-drive electric motor has an in-cab rotary switch for operator convenience. The motor comes with a three-year full replacement warranty.

When pricing your Flash™ system, you will need to order your choice of tarp and add that to the price. Choose from heavy duty mesh, multicolored PVC mesh, 18-oz. vinyl or asphalt lumite. Asphalt lumite is water resistant and not PVC coated, so it’s able to handle much higher heat levels than vinyl. In addition to lumite, other asphalt-friendly selections are also available, including RFL, urethane-coated airbag, 22-oz. vinyl and Donoprene. More tarp options can be selected, such as non-standard colors, side flaps, reinforced pockets or hems, webbing, boxed corners, stenciling, grommets and D-rings.
Optional Upgrades:
Optional upgrades include 40-amp Durabuilt™ rocker switch kit with solenoid, wind deflectors, pivot arm rests and spring trap and tarp trap hold-downs.
Professionally Built:
Metal components have been finished with a professional, high-polish zinc protective coating. Our 2-part stamping process eliminates welds and the grade-8 pins won’t break.
